Checklists and Guidance
When a crisis occurs, whether it’s a local or global crisis, it is important to have crisis management plans and tools in place. Brad Sugars and Doug Winnie have provided the following Pandemic Business Checklist and Crisis Communication Tip Sheet to help our ActionCOACH community in developing crisis response plans.
Working From Home Employee Engagement Survey
We know times are tough and growing even more uncertain, which is why it’s important to take a couple minutes to check in with your teams. Below is a link to a free tool from Engagement Multiplier, a trusted partner, that will enable you to assess how your newly-remote teams are doing, and help you make adjustments to the operation right now that will mobilise employees and improve their connection, energy and productivity. It takes just a couple minutes, is free of charge, and I believe you’ll find it immediately useful. Here’s a link for you to use:
H.R. Issues and Guidance

Emma can also provide additional support and various documents which you may require at this time, particularly around the questions you might have with the Job Retention Scheme and ‘furloughed’ workers. Emma can be contacted at email@example.com. For further contact details and advice follow the link below. Emma has also taken the time to look at three key questions which business owners have asked and answered them on the link below plus she has added some further information about the furlough scheme.
UK Government Guidance
A full range of business support measures have been made available to UK businesses and employees.
This page helps businesses find out how to access the support that has been made available, who is eligible, when the schemes open and how to apply.
The Government has also set out further guidance for employers and employees to provide advice on novel coronavirus COVID 19.
One question we have been asked more than any other is, can I go to work and do my job. Section 2 and 4 of this document the Government sets out clearly whether you can go to work or not.
