Has anyone noticed how ‘together’ the England team seem to be currently. There are no petty arguments, no off-pitch antics to report, no disagreements between the team and the manager and no dressing room splits.
Gareth Southgate (England Manager for non-footie readers) appears to have engendered a set of shared values amongst the players and management team which they have all bought into. They are all looking after each other and working towards the same common goals (excuse the pun) as could be seen from the questions raised back in 2018 about Sterling’s tattoo with various players and the manager, who were all, without exception, 100% behind the player.
How does the team in your business compare. Do you have a shared vision and common goals? Do you have rules of the game / a company culture that everyone fully participates in?
If you don’t, can you imagine the difference it might make to your organisation if you did?
